PIKACHU, I CHOOSE YOU!

its actually kind of sad.  Anyway, my favorite pokemon are the dark-type pokemon.. but not many people are pokenerds like i am, so i decided to stick with a more "recognizable" pokemon -- PIKACHU! (for some reason, i feel like i need to type pikachu in caps. lol)

Anyway, got the tutorial  HERE ^_^ it is seriously super KAWAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII and i dont even use words like that.

I was majorly stoked. the first one i made was lined, but it came out lopsided.. Daniel wears it & makes smart ass "philosophical" comments.

i was seriously happy to have this. now i'll be making more pokemon hats.. and actually, i'm about to start on a hoodie.. i decided against wearing lame-sauce yellow tank top & yellow skirt.. im not sure if i'm going to make a pika-hoodie.. i have a TON of black fabric. the only problem is that i need a pattern, there are tons of tutorials, but i sometimes have a hard time without exact measurements. i never follow directions; i just kind of wing it when it comes to sewing.. but every time i make a shirt, its too tight/small at the bottom. i have no idea how to remedy this. the only thing i know how to do is alter teeshirts into something else lol.

Don't know if i'll end up dressing up as pikachu for halloween, i may end up going as a witch.. i sometimes feel like i'm too old for pokemon.. i enjoy it in the privacy of my own home, but when you take nerdy hobbies outside, people kind of think you're weird. :/ oh well. if i end up volunteering at this haunted house thing-y with my brother, i might end up doing pikachu.. you know.. because kids will recognize it...... yeahhh see how easy it was to justify my costume? :]~

oh well, i'll post an update when i complete my pikachu hoodie. (or maybe a different pokemon.) Daniel is insisting that i make him a Candlejack hood, but WTF kind of pair is that? Candlejack and Pikachu?

I also have a pokeball purse, i just haven't taken pictures of it... Matthew said "pikachu doesnt go in a pokeball. he hates it." and i said, "thats why its my purse." then we had a 20 minute discussion about the differences between a male and female pikachu. how nerdy ;]~~~

oh well, if anyone gives me crap, i can always just thundershock 'em. <3
